All our Consultants must have at least one MCITP designation, Cisco UCS and NetApp storage certifications and must be industry experts in emerging Cloud and Management technologies.

We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Consultant that possess outstanding professional consulting attributes with exceptional technical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong client focus and commitment to detail. 
 
Position Overview
As a Senior Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for activities including opportunity development, architecture, planning, design and delivery on a variety of initiatives including: Core Infrastructure Services Migration and Optimization, Dynamic Datacenter Transition and Optimization, Enterprise Core Infrastructure Design and Deployments, Server Infrastructure and Application Virtualization, as well as Desktop Deployment Planning Services.

Responsibilities
- Providing pre-sales support with the opportunity development

- Meeting with the customers in pre-sales capacity and presenting ALANTEX offerings and solutions to them

- Provide pre-sales service delivery in terms of assisting in Statement of Work and proposals creation, client negotiations, presentations, demonstrations, ADS sessions, RFP contributions, etc.

- Design and Deployment of Core Infrastructure architecture and integration to support wide range of initiatives from medium to enterprise level

- Provide consulting services to primary IT support team, issue resolution and technical advisory services with Action Plan development

- Apply technical experience and leadership in technology direction, architecture, design, implementation and support of Datacenter Cloud technical solutions

- Work collaboratively with partners to develop technology solution options, case studies, presentations and demonstrations

- Actively participate in design reviews to ensure optimum solution delivery

- Prepare detailed architecture and design documentation

- Strong understanding and proven delivery experience with Active Directory and Exchange design / deployment / migrations is an advantage

- Strong knowledge and proven delivery experience with design / deployment of Microsoft Hyper-V based technologies with preference for High Availability (Clustering), Cloud Virtualization (Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud) and System Center 2012 family of products

- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and Process Automation (Opalis skills is an advantage)

- Knowledge and delivery experience with VMware and/or Citrix is an advantage

- Experience with the creation of business cases and financial analysis / business justification of IT solutions and system

- Experience with large scale migrations

- Ability to discuss business challenges and technical concepts with business decision makers and technologists

- Ability to work on multiple priorities and manage time accordingly

- Ability to work in a team environment in a leadership role

- Ability to teach and mentor other colleagues, and grow the Cloud Infrastructure community

Qualifications:

- Subject matter expert (SME) in Microsoft Cloud Virtualization and Core Infrastructure solutions with minimum 7 years of experience working in a medium to large IT environment

- Strong consulting skills with the excellent communication, presentation and relationship selling skills

- Extensive past experience with technical pre-sales support, oral presentations and leading RFP response is a must

- Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables

- Demonstrated ability to understand a customer's needs and develop technical solutions based on business imperatives

- Industry recognized certifications

- Excellent documentation skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Must have a Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

- Must have the ability to travel 80% of the time to the customer location

Certifications

- MCITP Windows Server 2008 Administrator certification is required
- MCITP Server 2008 Virtualization or Desktop Virtualization is required
- Cisco UCS Fabric certification is required in first 3 months
- NetApp NASP is an asset
- MCITP Exchange 2010 is an asset
- VCP5 or higher certification is an asset

Other
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel to client sites
- Strong spoken and written English skills
